A Recipe for Living - Ingredients

There are countless "self-help," "keys to positive thinking," and "guides to better living books on the market today, many of them by accomplished authors, medical professionals, religious leaders and recognized leaders in the field of pro-active holistic life-styles.

I chose to write this manuscript as a way of putting into words my basic philosophy of how I try to live my life today and if it helps one other person take control and responsibility for their life, so much the better.

It is your choice to maintain the "status quo," or to become pro-active in how you live the rest of your life. Good luck and Shalom.

"A Recipe for Living" has 12 Chapters, or as I so ingenuously named them, "Ingredients."
  1. A Burning Desire
  2. A Deep Belief
  3. Decisiveness
  4. Moral and ethical Inventory
  5. Reconciliation
  6. Daily routine
  7. Humility
  8. Attentiveness
  9. Compassion
  10. Self Examination
  11. Let Go
  12. Practice, Practice, Practice.

A Recipe for Living

Ben Nevis - The summit

Like any journey my dream had to start somewhere and that is when I started writing "A Recipe for Living." A practical. down to earth guide on how you can become the person you really want to be or to accomplish that which seems impossible.

My wife Elsie and I had travelled to Scotland in 2000 for our 40th anniversary and while there I made the decision to return with my two son's and eldest grandson to walk the land of my Cameron ancestors, climb Ben Nevis and hike from Fort William to Inverness and visit the site of the Culloden battlefield where over 400 Cameron's lie buried in a common grave.
