While I was in B.C. I was notified that I was going to be inducted into the Winnipeg High School Football Hall of Fame - what an honour. Son Michael accepted for me as I was still in B. C. coaching football for the Lord Tweedsmuir High School Panthers with son Jordy and former student Kurt Thornton. Both Jordy and Kurt played for me in High School and it was most rewarding not only to work with them, but to also see how much they agre giving back to their adopted community. They have over 100 young men playing football in three school football programs (grade 8, jr. varsity and sr. varsity) and I believe there is no better place to learn about life than being involved in high school co-curricular activities---especially football. It is most gratifying to see how dedicated and enthusiastic everyone is---players and coaches.
